Bath AbbeyThe Abbey has stood at the heart of Bath for a millenium.

To the right of the Abbey you can see the Pump Room and Roman Baths. To the left of the Abbey is Binks restaurant, outside which you can sit and enjoy a coffee or a meal and listen to the musicians who sometimes busk in the Abbey Churchyard.

Next to the Abbey stands the Guildhall, which houses an indoor market as well as council offices.

The Guildhall

On the other side of the Guildhall is Grand Parade, from which you can have a spectacular view over the River Avon, towards Pulteney Bridge.

Bath is famous for its Georgian Crescents - the grandest of which is the Royal Crescent, overlooking Victoria Park.

Along the other end of Brock Street from the Crescent is the Circus.

Camden Crescent
A brisk walk up Lansdown Hill from the Circus brings you to Camden Crescent, from which you can see a fine view of most of the City of Bath.

The View from Lansdown Crescent
A further walk up Lansdown Hill brings you to Lansdown Crescent, possibly the finest in Bath. It overlooks extensive wood and parkland, on which sheep graze, and affords a fantastic view of Bath.
