Bath is famed, not just for the beauty of its buildings, but the vibrancy of its life. At all hours of the day or night you can hear music of all genres: world, classical, jazz, blues, folk or rock.
  Bath can boast of some world-class musicians playing on its streets, though the standard of playing can range from the sublime to the truly terrible.  There are plenty of other diversions on Bath's streets apart from its buskers. Street traders sell a variety of items, including clothing and jewellery. Bath is famous for its festivals, such as the Music Festival in May, but it also plays host to many smaller festivals. At early evening during the summer you can often see hot-air balloons taking off in Victoria Park.
