A new Public Transport Map for people wanting to use bus or train services is now available from Bath & North East Somerset Council.
The Council map shows all bus and rail services in Bath and North East Somerset including links to neighbouring areas. The new leaflet coincides with the recent opening of the new bus station which is part of the Southgate Transport interchange.
The map is part of the Council’s commitment to improving access to public transport and promoting more sustainable ways to travel and includes information on:
- The Diamond Travelcard which provides free bus travel for elderly and disabled residents;
- Bus links to Bristol International Airport;
- Bath Park & Ride City Centre services;
- The Royal United Hospital Park & Ride Service;
- Community Transport in Bath & North East Somerset;
- Freedom Travelpass.
The map includes a guide to bus routes and frequencies outside Bath and detailed maps of bus routes in Bath, Keynsham and Saltford, Midsomer Norton, Paulton and Radstock. Bus operator contact details are also included.
People can view the map on-line by going to www.bathnes.gov.uk. The Map is available from Council Reception points, Libraries and Tourist Information Centres. Sections with specific information on Bath, Midsomer Norton and Radstock, and Keynsham and Saltford are also included.
